ROOM CONSTRUCTION

In order for all the service offered through host computer – internet – local network there need to be a suitable computer room. For the construction of the computer room, the room needs to be coated with double sided plasterwork rockwool. The rockwoll provides humid and sound insulation, and sound absorption, and rockwool ceiling floor tiles should be used. Then raised floor should be built. Then bearing legs which have point charge and spring charge features, should be installed. These will be the sound structures that will carry products which will be placed on the flooring. After that antistatic floor covering should be built. While doing the flooring, attention should be given to reasure the raised floor should be at least 50 cm above the the floor so as to allow cold air-flow. To carry cabinet weight easily, supporting legs that clasp the tiles under the floor should be directly under where the cabinet’s legs will be places. For the construction of the computer room, there should be a fire-proof steel door, and it should be protected by durable locks. There should be a good water and heat insulation. In case of earthquakes, racks should be mounted to the walls. When the construction is done and the keys are ready to be turned, computer room should be ready to give professional service.

RAISED FLOORING

The raised flooring inside the computer room is a contruction that consists of tiles places on top of a system that raises the floor. Their purpose is to create space for the infrastructure members to move inside the area when needed so as to make it easy to respond. Aside from creating space, it hides the infrastructure and contributes to the enegry efficiency. Raised flooring is created from non-hazardous substances on human health, and materials that don’t gather dirt or dust, and it’s also fire, corrosion and humid resistant. Furthermore, thanks to its anti-static nature, it’s useful for discharging static electiricty.

FIRE SENSING & EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS

Both automatic and manual fire sensing and warning systems should be used in data centers. In case of a fire, necessary precautions should be taken so as not to respond the fire with water, and halon gas should be used as extinguisher instead. Fire alarm should be configured in a way to warn above and below the 10-30 degrees treshold.

FIREPROOF PAINT & SOLUTION PROCESS

Fire-proof paint and solution processes molecularly capsulates the surface, and cuts its contact with oxygene. This creates a very strong heat resistancy. DATA CENTER & CABINET INSTALLATION

During data center and cabinet insallations, outer factors should be taken into consideration. First precaution againts natural disasters are placed then place preference, heat control, humidity control, dust control are applied. After these, technical precaution such as cabinet order, energy control, cabling inside the cabinets, and regular records are installed. Finally security and monitoring installation are carried out.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS MONITORING SYSTEMS

Environmental condition monitoring systems inside the system rooms include weather conditions that are related to heat, humidity, dew, and electrical conditions like  network voltage frequency, UPS voltage frequency, earthing voltage, surrounding conditions, air conditioners, UPS, generator and such. These parameters can also sense any bypass-breakdown through dry contact entries.

UNINTERRUPTED POWER SUPPLY SYSTEMS

In case of shortages, uninterrupted power supply systems, can generate electricity theough a battery or a set of batteries that are inside them. In addition to this these devices have the system to preserve the cricical load and stabilize the voltage during the voltage fluctuations of the circuit.
